What we do during the initial session:

Our initial session is the means of getting to know each other and to see if we fit to work together. 

We will also:

  • Identify the source of your stress.

  • Discuss your objectives and expectations from talking therapy.

  • Discuss your personal goals and develop a plan based on your needs and current issues.

  • We may also get a sense of how long our mutual work will last.

  • The goals can be re-evaluated and re-directed at any point of our therapy together.

  • It’s quite natural to feel nervous about an initial meeting.  Let me assure you I will be there to make you feel as relaxed and comfortable as it’s possible.

  • The initial session lasts one hour and is offered at reduced rate of £10.
